José Carlos Mangual
José Carlos is a veteran producer and senior production executive with over twenty years leading high-impact, global storytelling for independent production companies and tech platforms. A former Global Production Lead at YouTube Originals/Google, he has overseen more than 75 premium productions across multiple formats, managed $40M+ annual budgets, and delivered award-winning content worldwide. His work spans feature films, series, documentaries, live events, and international productions across Latin America, Europe, Asia, and the U.S., where he has built creative ecosystems, strengthened regional partnerships, and led large, diverse teams.
His credits include Emmy-nominated and PGA Award–winning projects such as Defying Gravity, Glad You Asked, Lockdown, and I Promise, as well as the Sundance-premiering feature How The Garcia Girls Spent Their Summer. A Directors Guild of America (DGA) and The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) member, José holds an MFA from the American Film Institute and is known for unifying creative, operational, and business strategy to deliver exceptional storytelling.
